Challenge description:
The creation and design of luge is a very complicated and interesting challenge, because each luge, like a great suit, is designed for each athlete individually tailored to the peculiarities of height. Each of these models has similar, but different, challenges in improving aerodynamics. Given that a full-size wind tunnel is not available in Latvia, most calculations have to be performed using a computer.
Currently, several models of luge covers have been created, which are well suited for individual athletes, but the goal is to create a perfect shape for each athlete of the Latvian national team.
