Idea name: Virtual event live stream background sports screen with app.
Problem:
No large crowds. Part of the experience of sporting events is feeling connected to the team and fans, either in person or vicariously through the in-person crowd while watching/listening.
Solution:
The sports industry could develop/contract with a subscription/event app where fans can pump in cheering, sound affects and background lights/pics/vids during the game.
The whole sporting background could be a screen with fan pics/live video from digital *ticket holders. A video team could run the background collage. A sound team could fade in & out the app noise with regular game tunes. FB could possibly facilitate this on the app/ticket holder end.
I imagine a turntable/mixer/soundboard that filters in ticket holders usage of sound effects and a go-live cheering stream from their app. A DJ would fade in and out the live stream and user pushed sound effects with game tunes.
A video team would do the same with giant a screen dome (kinda like Stephen Colbert's). Ticket holders could send pics/video clips or possibly live stream.
That would be turned into a collage mixed with lighting effects and spell out game cheers.
